A studio that takes objects seriously.
Most companies treat merch as procurement. We treat it as brand work. That's the entire difference.
Safe Consulting started inside another business. I was running a laundry service in New York and heading a real-estate investment firm, and both companies needed branded objects that actually did something for the brand. What I found on the market was disappointing: the consultancies that already existed worked from stale catalogs and showed every client the same shortlist.
So we built it ourselves. We spent the time conceptualizing, sourcing globally, and pressure-testing materials until we had things worth handing out. That's the whole practice now — a small team that takes the time to think about what makes your brand stand out, rather than reselling the same list to everyone.
The point of all of it is simple: physical objects make people remember you. Done right, they connect a customer to your company and to its value — so when they're ready to come back, they come back as strong, ready-to-go customers.
The work is intentionally small in volume and high in care. We don't try to be a catalog. We don't try to be the cheapest. We try to make the object that ends up on someone's desk a year later.
If you've ever opened a goodie bag and immediately known which item is going home and which one is going in the bin — that's the problem we solve.
How we work, in more depth.
Concept. Every project starts with a conversation about what the object should do — earn a place on a desk, get pulled out of a tote at a conference, end up in a LinkedIn post. We come back with two or three directions, mocked up, with the manufacturing implications already thought through.
Source. Once a direction is chosen, we pull material samples, run color matches, and vet factories. Domestic for speed, overseas for unit economics — your call, our recommendation. We price openly, including our margin.
Deliver. Production runs, quality control, customs, freight, and last-mile. Warehousing and fulfillment if you want it. One project lead, one accountable team, one place where the buck stops.
The kind of object you'd quietly slip into your bag, not the kind you'd leave on a hotel desk. The studio · in one line
